The
principle owner and operator of North Texas Avionics, Mike Ferrer,
is an A&P IA and a instrument-rated private pilot. He started
his aviation career working on C119 and C130 aircraft at Fairchild-Hiller
in 1968 and later obtained his pilot's license in 1970. He currently
owns a Piper Dakota and is building an RV-7 in his spare time.
Mike is also an Amateur Radio Operator (Ham) and is licensed
in the USA (WB4GEC) and The Bahamas (C6AGK).
Although
specializing in aircraft altimeter/transponder inspections and
certifications (91.411 and 91.413), we provide many other services,
such as avionics sales, installation, repairs, supplies, custom
wiring harness fabrication, precision weight and balance measurements
and dynamic propeller balancing. We also do bench repair of
older transponders, such at the Narco AT-50 and 150, King KT-76/76A
and many others.
We
are "experimental friendly" and have provided our
services to hundreds of homebuilders in the DFW area. We enjoy
working with the customer and encourage owner participation.
