We use high-quality, electronic digital scales calibrated to
N.I.S.T traceable standards with an accuracy of plus or minus
0.1% ... that's plus or minus 2 lbs. on a 2,000 lb. aircraft!
Weighing
can be performed at your location as long as you have a fairly
level concrete pad. There is no extra charge to travel to your
airport if you are within a 20 mile radius. That would include
Meacham, Denton, Hicks, NW Regional, Propwash and others. For
locations beyond 15 miles, a mileage charge of $1.00/mile will
be incurred.
Discounts
are available if two or more aircraft are weighed at the same
airport on the same day. Call for more information.
Prices vary according to the aircraft and the amount of work
involved:
- If
you just want to know your aircraft's total weight without
making changes to the aircraft's permanent records: $ 135.00
and up
- If
you want to determine empty weight, calculate the new CG and
have the aircraft's records updated with an A&P certified
entry: $ 200.00 and up
